Geranium, Rozanne, Cranesbill - Perennial Plant 2008

2008 New Perennials

'Going Green' is probably the biggest current trend in the gardening industry. This means planting a 'sustainable' garden, or one that emphasizes plant health and longevity, low maintenance and environmentally friendly practices. Planting in larger masses or groups of plants that naturally grow together and have similar requirements will help achieve this type of landscape. Use plants that naturalize and filler plants to help prevent weeds and cut down on watering. Inter-planting with native grasses will help to tie the plants together within the beds.

Hardier, longer-blooming, faster growing and more heat, drought and disease resistant plants make up a large portion of the new plants being offered for 2008. We're confident you will find several that will provide you with years of energy-and environment-saving enjoyment.
