This is a new Nepeta cultivar with an unusually light and bright foliage color... chartreuse. This happy color which catches the light so well sets off the plant's lavender blue flowers beautifully. While many Catmints need lots of cutting back, Chartreuse on the Loose needs little shearing in-season to maintain rounds of blooms. Try it in a front border, as deer and rabbits will steer clear from it. In the front of a mixed bed, you will also notice its fragrance, herbal and minty. This is an attractive new addition for Cottage Gardens, rock gardens, mixed beds, and borders.
