This perennial becomes drought-tolerant and carefree over time, once it settles in. Right away, it can handle almost any soil as long as drainage is good. Shear down hard at the end of the growing season. In-season, the plant will keep itself looking neat and well shaped. Just be sure to position it in lots of bright sunshine.

This is a new Nepeta cultivar with an unusually light and bright foliage color... chartreuse. This happy color which catches the light so well sets off the plant's lavender blue flowers beautifully. While many Catmints need lots of cutting back, Chartreuse on the Loose needs little shearing in-season to maintain rounds of blooms.
