A striking plant, Alocasia amazonica Bambino shows off bold grayish veining on dark emerald leaves. Its leaves are angular and shaped like elephants’ ears or large arrowheads with clearly patterned tops and burgundy undersides. Though flowering from spring to summer in optimal conditions, its best feature is the bold coloration of its foliage. The dwarf Bambino was bred to grow no more than approximately 1' in height, with leaves that appear large in relation to the plant’s overall size.
