A humidity lover, this plant does best in a terrarium or similar protected environment with access to bright indirect light. It needs moisture but should not be overwatered. Let the top two inches of its soil dry quite a bit before watering. Water sparingly, being sure the plant's roots are never waterlogged. This plant will mature into a nice shrubby mass of foliage on its own, no need for trimming.

With fernlike leaves in bronze tones with reddish undersides, this Begonia adds visual interest to a terrarium display or other cozy, humid environment. This is a rare, fairly hard-to-find Begonia. It blooms from time to time in a pretty pink. The balance of the time, its delicate-looking leaves do the job of adding a new texture to indoor plant displays.
