This Coleus stays an ideal height as it trails and shows off eye-catching foliage that many say has an iridescence. With a base color of the darkest burgundy, each leaf has a visible, painterly band of purple-magenta nearing the margins. To offset these colors, each leaf has the thinnest scalloped edging in a cream tone, making it look as though it has been finished off with a little crocheting or embroidery. This edging gives a plant with striking colors a little old-fashioned charm. Light blue flowers appear from spring to fall, but they can go unnoticed and are not the reason to grow this Coleus. Instead, it is Swinging Linda’s foliage that adds great visual interest all season, and enduring color in fall.
