With some of the most highly decorated shamrock-type leaves, one would think that this plant would have no need for flowers. But it does flower, in attractive pink blooms that emerge as trumpets and then open to show their petals even more. Blooms sit high above the plant, offsetting the green and golden leaves. Leaves are three-lobed, comprised of three perfect hearts that join at their pointed bases. Each ‘heart’ has a true-green base color and very prominent yellow-gold variegation—clearly visible straight and curved lines that look as though they have been drawn on each leaf.
