Outdoors, this plant needs little more than adequate sunshine (dappled sun, or sun and part shade). As a houseplant, place this Geranium in soil that is amended with well-aged compost. Trim it periodically to encourage new, bushy growth. Keep it evenly moist to slightly dry, and feed infrequently with a diluted liquid fertilizer.

This Geranium has leaves that do double duty: They look great, in an attractive green with creamy ruffled edges, and they smell wonderful, releasing an uplifting lemon scent when rubbed. Foliage is key to this plant's appeal, but so are its spring blooms of pale pinkish-lavender. A sun-lover, this plant will be happy outdoors for part of the year, and then it will do beautifully indoors on a bright windowsill.
