Also known as String of Turtles, Peperomia prostrata is a slow-growing perennial succulent and popular houseplant. The tiny, fleshy, ornamental leaves look delicate and attractive in hanging baskets. This vining plant is known to form a thick mat and then trail over the sides of a container. The plant does not produce significant flowers. When it does flower, the blooms are small, unscented, and cream-colored. But who needs flowers when you've got turtles?
This plant features in Leslie Halleck's video Tiny Plants: Miniature Gardening Unboxing.
