Here’s your new favorite Bonsai plant! Plectranthus Ernstii Caudex, Bonsai Mint features a large, attractive succulent “trunk” and small, fuzzy, pleasantly spice-scented green leaves. Native to South Africa, this plant is new to most Bonsai collections, but it has become very popular. It is easy to propagate. Consider this one for pots, rock gardens, and fairy gardens. The plant’s stems are grayish and succulent but turn brown over time. In the summer through the fall, expect small spikes of lavender-white flowers.
