Fertilize sparingly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer, but hold back on food for the balance of the year. Ensure filtered light so that the plant's variegation stays sharp. This plant likes comfortable warmth. It also appreciates humidity, perhaps by way of being set on a water-filled pebble tray. Although it needs consistent moisture, you will want to water the soil and not the foliage to be sure water does not sit in its crown. Be careful not to snap the leaves as you work on the plant, but do feel free to cut it back if it becomes leggy. New growth will come in full and strong.

NGB lauded its good breeding which resulted in strong white variegation accompanied by vigorous growth. Its foliage is pistachio green with plenty of bold white stripes of running the lengths of the leaves. Keep it away from pets and allow it to trail beautifully from hanging baskets and high perches indoors. Outdoors if the season is warm enough, it will trail along the ground quickly and can then be cut back and re-potted for a return indoors. Give this plant an inch, and you'll get a "mile" of pleasure.
