Keep in mind that this plant may undergo a period of dormancy; do not give up on it. Keep it in rich soil, and water a little less during dormant period. In growing season, ensure it "wakes up" each day to morning sun; slight shade in the afternoon is fine.

This dainty plant becomes flower-covered, with tubular, tropical looking flowers that dangle. Blooms are pink with yellow tips and are numerous. This is a lot of color from a plant that looks quite delicate. Green leaves form a loose and airy mound of foliage that is dark enough to really offset the color of the bright, tropical blooms.
