This plant has a number of common names, including angel's tears, mind-your-own-business, and peace-in-the-home. It prefers shade and moderate moisture and can even grow submersed in swampy environments. The ultra-miniscule creamy white star-flowers of May & June are insignificant, but the rich green color of the tiny round leaves provides a garden with an impression of a softly fine moss growing in moist shady areas. Although it can be evergreen in areas with scarcely any winter, it is also frost-tender, so in the Pacific Northwest it dies back in winter, but returns reliably in spring. Tips & Care: Mist occasionally with warm water. This plant is sensitive to dry air so place pebbles or gravel in the drainage dish to hold water and increase the humidity, make sure the pot is sitting on the gravel and not in the water.
