'Lady in Red' has reddish violet stems that are very visible against this plant's light green fronds. Growing a little smaller than some other ferns, this pretty shade-garden classic can brighten a dark spot with its happy, bright green tone. It contrasts beautifully with plants that have different foliage... larger leaves in darker shades. It also looks great sitting as a singular plant in a woodland clearing, shaded by the canopies of large trees. Deer and rabbits will not bother it, and its ease of care makes it perfect for spots that are difficult to access but still need "dressing up" with a beautiful plant or three.
